Orlando Weather: Temperatures are expected to drop behind the cold front

A strong cold front that swept through Wednesday afternoon will clear the area this evening, ushering in a wave of colder air with northwest winds of 10-25 mph.

Temperatures are set to drop overnight and when the wind is factored in, wind chill will make it feel much colder.

How cold will it be in Orlando on Thursday?

Morning temperatures will be in the 30s and 40s, with chills making it feel like the 30s across much of the region. Despite a chilly start, clear skies and sunshine will help temperatures climb into the mid-60s in the afternoon.

Looking Ahead: Friday Orlando Forecast

Temperatures will climb into the low 70s Friday and mid 70s by the weekend. Sunshine is expected through the end of the work week, while partly cloudy skies and the possibility of scattered showers return for the weekend.

When will the temperatures get warmer?

Our cold snap doesn’t last very long. By Friday, highs will be back in the 70s as more seasonable temperatures persist through the weekend.

A few spotty showers cannot be ruled out next weekend either, with a 30% chance for Sunday.
